Excerpt:
You know that delusional moment when a regime that’s getting absolutely hammered in a war decides to respond to peace overtures by demanding the moon, the stars, and total surrender? That’s exactly what Iran just did after President Trump sent them a serious 15-point peace plan and offered a monthlong ceasefire.
According to reports, Tehran has now laid out its list of demands to end the conflict — and it’s one of the most ridiculous, maximalist wish lists you’ll ever see from a country that’s watching its military and economy get dismantled

Iran war update:

Wishful thinking on their part. Gives away a lot about their thinking and desperation given reality

When you have delusions of adequacy.
In a time of universal deceit - telling the truth is a revolutionary act.
More than any other time in history, mankind faces a crossroads. One path leads to despair and utter hopelessness. The other, to total extinction. Let us pray we have the wisdom to choose correctly.-Woody Allen
If God invented marathons to keep people from doing anything more stupid, the triathlon must have taken him completely by surprise.

  • Dems-greatest existential threat to USA republic!
Why shouldn't they make demands?  We are not conducting this war like any war that was WON!!!

Destroying military assets and hierarchy are both grossly insufficient to winning anything.  Wars are won by killing the enemy and destroying EVERYTHING they have, including their shelter.

For us to win, we need to level their ten largest cities.  LEVEL.  The stench of death has to be so pervasive that the people can't stand to stay in populated areas, they flee.

This form of minimalism war will not produce the desired results.  The lessons from Korea, Vietnam, and other actions since have all been forgotten.  The last war we fought as a war, WWII, we left our enemies in complete shambles.  EVERYTHING in shambles, and they still fought fiercely to the end.  Why has that lesson been forgotten?  Why?

It took two nuclear explosions in Japan to get them to surrender, otherwise, we may well have lost one million men to casualties.  You want a quick end in Iran, you have to do something more than the curtent strategy, because it will not get the Iranians off the dime of telling their people they are defeating the Americans, sinking their capital ships, etc.

War is a brutal business, and this war Trump is waging is tea and crumpets!!!!

Yet as you indicated, nothing has been serious since WWII.  Neither in proper Congress declaration, nor in prosecution.  Trump is no better yet no worse than all those previous “police actions” involved.

I guess the biggest difference is Trump again talks big.

But this is the nice-nice “surgical” garbage we’ve pulled since the big one.  And liberals have grown in strength and fully expect this stupid childish nonsense, because it’s “nice” and “war is mean” (lol except when they have their Marxist revolutions).
Common sense is an uncommon virtue.

Bombs won't win Iran.  Bombs can destroy an army and decimate an economy, but they cannot defeat an ideology.

To defeat the ideology, those who believe that ideology need to be removed ... imprisoned for life in remote locations (gulags) ... or killed.

Every person - from the Ayatollah / Supreme Leader down to the least significant IRGC member - that puts Iranians in fear needs to be dealt with.

IRGC members need to be dealt with in the same way that Nazi SS members were dealt with - executed on sight.

Iranians will not take back their country until the boogey men that the IRGC put into their collective nightmare no longer exist.

It may require an all out civil war or vigilante irregulars, like Los Pepes who targeted members of Pablo Escobar's organization, to dismantle the regime's organized fear.

Things will get bloody and messy by Western standards.

The Western media will weep for every IRGC member that is killed.  They will focus their cameras on the weeping wives and children of dead IRGC members.  The Press will ignore the generations of unnecessary death and destruction around the world perpetrated by the IRGC members.  Crying children are great for ratings.  History - and the suffering of those who are long dead - do not put eyeballs on the screen nor generate profits for Big Media shareholders.

"Political correctness is a doctrine fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it’s entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end." - Alan Simpson, Frontline Video Interview
