"Ancestral" land. That means simply that once upon a time, a member of that tribe may have lived there. Or nearby. I doubt they have any legal claim whatsoever.

Of course, the pre-colonization natives in America were always conquering each other and taking their land and other belongings, so it also may have been "ancestral" land for a few dozen other tribes, too, so should we give all of them a claim to poor silly Billie's house?

Yes, I doubt that the land purchased was tribal land; I just found her comment "f**k Ice, no one is illegal on stolen land" just a bit comical is all. I'm sick of all the liberal hoopla.
