However it doesn't negate the fact that the audience rated it very highly and it scored to be the best opening weekend for a documentary in over a decade.
First, I know the difference between a documentary and a reality show. "Melania" is not a documentary. But, it's all good --- Bezos' payments got Melania's production company off and running, she's got three more segments of her reality series ready, she single handedly rescued the career of an unindicted sexual predator, and the President announced today he's thrilled because he had a top model and now he has a top movie star.
Your loathing for Melania continues to shine through. During her first term as FLOTUS I always thought you admired her. So .... what has she done to change your mind??
I don't loathe Melania.
What I do loathe is the hypocrisy sounding her. Everything she does is great --- no matter what. Dual citizenship for the first lady and her son, selling her art in the shadow of the sitting President, inserting herself in policies for which she hasn't the experience, education or communication skills, co-signing legislation and executive orders because she's... well, no one's quite sure what. But, it's all wonderful according to conservative women. Put another way--- if any other first lady had done what she's doing (and some have) while her husband was the sitting President, conservatives would have gone bat sh!t nuts (and have).
What I loathe is that rank hypocrisy is the wind beneath Melania's wings. --- and that cheapens it all.
