Trading In Discontent

As I write this on Christmas Eve, with so much good emerging from the holiday in spite of liberal grousing, I am reminded of the chasm between the Left and the Right. It has now become dangerous.

One can see that the Left has evolved from being merely an opposition party to becoming a traitorous force, reminiscent of revolutionaries. They will no longer settle for minor tweaks to our great country. They want an end to it as we know it.

Much of their anger comes from a void of who we are and where we came from. Children used to receive a thorough education in history and civics. Probably planned, possibly by circumstance, they are now steered in the direction of discontent. It has done tremendous damage to our country.

People who know very little about the Civil War or the reasons behind our fight for independence often gather propaganda from the internet, primarily from leftist sources. It’s the devil whispering in your ear, 24/7.

One day, I'm sitting at a gas station in Concord, MA, waiting for my car to get its annual state safety and emissions inspection.  Also in the waiting area, an upper-middle class white woman and her 5 or 6 year old child.  I overheard her tell her child about the evils of the capitalist system and greedy corporations.  She was indoctrinating her school-age child to be a Marxist-Leninist.
