Subzero Wind Chills North, Feels Like 20s, 30s In Florida

Cold and windy weather will be felt across the eastern half of the U.S. as we head into the New Year’s holiday. Subzero wind chills will be felt across the upper Midwest and interior portions of the Northeast in places like Minneapolis, Chicago, Detroit and Buffalo. Wednesday and Thursday mornings will be the coldest across the Deep South as temperatures drop below freezing and wind chills plummet into the 20s as far south as Florida. Watch this video to see how cold it will feel.

In south FL we'll see temps dip down into the 40's. We have a cold week ahead of us.  Darn cold but not completely out of the norm for this time of year.

Well, I just looked at our current weather forecast -- dipping down to 39 tomorrow morning with a wind chill of 34.  It will be sunny later with a high of about 64 and that wind will unfortunately be blowing 10-15 mph.   It's winter.  :shrug:

Until this week we have had temps in the 80s. It dipped to freezing...it hurt my creaky old bones. :laugh:

I do have a couple pair of sneakers and a few pairs of long pants and a hoodie -- I'm good.  If i need to go anywhere I'll crank up the heat in the car.  happy77

Teens here, that is pretty cold for us. I have on two sets of thermal underwear under my lined bluejeans.
