Mamdani transition advisor Tamika Mallory said she didn't 'give a damn' if BLM rioters torched Target in 2020

Socialist New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani's adviser on crime once raged that she did not care if Black Lives Matter rioters burned down a Target department store to the ground in a resurfaced clip that went viral over the weekend.
Tamika Mallory, one of the advisers who has been appointed to Mamdani's transition team, made the comments during a rally in response to George Floyd's death in 2020. “We are not responsible for the mental illness that has been inflicted upon our people by the American government, institutions and those people who are in positions of power. I don’t give a damn if they burn down Target, because Target should be on the streets with us calling for the justice that our people deserve," she said.
“Don’t talk to us about looting. Y’all are the looters. America has looted black people. America looted the Native Americans when they first came here, so looting is what you do. We learned it from you. We learned violence from you," she added.
