President Donald Trump said the U.S. military destroyed a Venezuelan facility, which would mark the administration’s first airstrike on Venezuelan soil.

Up to this point, the administration limited its strikes to Venezuelan boats alleged to have been carrying narcotics to the United States. At least 100 people have been killed in the strikes so far.

Now, it appears the White House is escalating its military pressure on the Venezuelan regime, according to NBC News.

Venezuela isn't the only Narco exporter to the US.  Plenty of work to be done in eliminating the drug use problem in the US.

I guess the question is: Is this activity in any way causing the Mexican and other Cartels to rethink their operations, or are they proceeding with greater vigor to fill the gaps in supply?

i imagine it would do both. Those that have already well established "safe" delivery routes will increase while the "small time" operators may begin to rethink or see about joining larger groups.

I'll take a guess that they're probably working on advanced "submarine" style vessels, since "speed" will become secondary to "stealth".

Maybe even seek to buy older military-grade submarines?
