Hunter Biden has criticized illegal migration, saying that the United States does not want migrants “draining us of resources.”

Speaking on an episode of the Shawn Ryan Show podcast, he said: “We need a vibrant immigration, but we don’t want immigrants that are coming here illegally, draining us of resources and being prioritized above people that are literal heroes, that are still recovering from 20 years of endless war, or anybody else in our society.”
 
Immigration was a defining issue in the 2024 presidential election, with border crossings and asylum policies drawing significant public attention.

President Joe Biden faced criticism for his asylum policies, with opponents arguing that they weakened border enforcement and complicated the administration’s handling of irregular migration. Annual net migration averaged 2.4 million people between 2021 to 2023, according to the Congressional Budget Office.

Hunter must expect to be busted by the feds for some reason and is trying to schmooze republicans so they'll go easier on him.  Think about it, who cares what he thinks about immigration and why does the media report it?  I'll bet the media got the "tip" from Biden lawyers.
