Police seize more than 200 pounds of meth hidden behind fake wall in Houston home
Story by Ashley Soebroto • 19h

Police in Chambers County on Thursday seized more than 200 pounds of methamphetamine hidden behind a fake wall in a Houston home.

The Chambers County Sheriff's Office, in a Friday social media post, said that along with the drug seizure, authorities arrested two individuals "who were illegally present in the United States." It's unclear what led police to finding the drugs and whether the sheriff's office will be turning over the arrested individuals to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

The sheriff's office didn't identify the exact address of the home.

The county sheriff's office did not immediately respond to request for comment.

By means of shrewd lies, unremittingly repeated, it is possible to make people believe that heaven is hell - and hell heaven. The greater the lie, the more readily it will be believed.

The receptivity of the masses is very limited, their intelligence is small, but their power of forgetting is enormous. In consequence of these facts, all effective propaganda must be limited to a very few points and must harp on these in slogans until the last member of the public understands what you want him to understand by your slogan.

  • I was a "conspiracy theorist". Now I'm just right.
Well, that should save some teeth.

Seventeen Techniques for Truth Suppression

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.
