The biggest Trump error was he set high quick expectations, just like he'd end the Ukraine/Russian war in 24 hours... Those claims had no basis in reality. It's one thing to make the sale, it is far more difficult to deliver.

You can't pump in $3T+ printed dollars into the economy and not debase the currency. It will take quite a while for the consequences of that to work its way through the economy. A sudden turn into a golden era wasn't in the cards. Realignment to something closer to reality is painful.
