He darn well knows it will be impossible for Mamdani to accomplish his promises.

It will have a far-reaching effect on the mid-terms, IMO.

Reagan's first couple of years were terrible economically, given mortgage rates were double digit 30yr fixed.

It would not be entirely unexpected to believe  that Trump, in order to avoid any threat of impeachment after the Democrats take the House next year, would be more susceptible to giving Democrats what they want.

Especially if they also sweep the Senate with enough to convict and remove
