Supreme Court Lifts Stay on Gov't Rule Requiring Birth Gender be on Passports

On Thursday, the Supreme Court granted an order to the Trump Administration lifting the MA district court's stay on the administration's rule requiring that passports reflect the passport-holder's sex at birth.

As the Court's opinion states:

Displaying passport holders’ sex at birth no more offends equal protection principles than displaying their country of birth—in both cases, the Government is merely attesting to a historical fact without subjecting anyone to differential treatment.

Predictably, the three fascists - I mean progressives - on the Court dissented.

There, fixed the headline.  Any replacement of "sex" (in the sense of classifying organisms into males, who produce many motile games, and females, who produce few sesile gametes) with "gender" already cedes too much territory to the cultural Marxists.  Gender is, in the first instance, a grammatical notion (of which English has three, masculine, feminine and neuter), and is actually socially constructed (which nouns are which gender varies from language to language with little discernable objective basis).  The mischief comes from replacing the objective fact of biological sex with gender in the first place.
