Two inmates were killed in a brutal stabbing attack at an Arkansas prison on Saturday, local authorities confirmed.

Jefferson County Sheriff Lafayette Woods Jr. reported that multiple people were stabbed shortly before 3 p.m. inside the housing area of the W.C."Dub" Brassell Adult Detention Center (DBDC).
 
According to the sheriff's department, two detainees were stabbed with "foreign objects" during an altercation that involved multiple inmates. Detention staff responded to the attack, removed the inmates from the area and began lifesaving measures on the victims.
