The Morning Briefing: Brutal Night for Republicans... Or Was It?
Stephen Kruiser

Top O' the Briefing

Happy Wednesday, dear Kruiser Morning Briefing friends. The Sine Qua Non Sequitur is taking a wardrobe malfunction emergency day.

What the heck, let's come at this post mortem from a different angle. I assure you that I'm not concussed, drunk, or in some sort of Invasion of the Body Snatchers situation. True, things did not go well at all for Republicans on Election Night 2025. A commie jihadist was elected mayor of New York City. Virginia was a bloodbath. New Jersey elected another Dem to lead the state, and California voted to become even more politically California-ish.

That's a whole lotta ugliness for Republicans.

I want to take a quick look at the bigger picture, though. This could be a coping mechanism, but these were some of the thoughts that were popping into my head as the results were coming in and the races were being called.

The Dems' flying monkeys in the mainstream media will have a field day with this, loudly proclaiming a huge repudiation of President Trump. There's no basis in reality for that. I am not at all surprised that things went poorly for Republicans in four states that voted for Kamala Harris last year. Voting Democrat wasn't very popular last year, and it hasn't gotten any cooler this year. My stomach isn't going to be twisted into knots because people who voted to send the country down the leftist toilet last year are continuing to do so.

One of the things that I have been saying in the last year is that the Dems' extremist behavior since the presidential election last year isn't doing anything to win back the voters they have been losing. They have essentially been playing to a captive audience, one that enjoys being captive. So the audience was a lot louder on Tuesday night, it was still the same audience, nobody new showed up.

  • Dems-greatest existential threat to USA republic!
The Dems had a solid win day yesterday in largely well entrenched blue states.  Big whoop!  This means absolutely nothing!!!

California no longer has a Republican Party any longer with the exception of I believe five counties, and now those are gone courtesy of Gavin Newscum.  So, California is a tiny Russia, literally, where one group run the entire state.  F*** them.  They were lost long before Newscum appeared on the scene.

New Jersey has been a bastion for the Dems for some time.  While news reports on Fox, etc gave hope for the Republican candidate for governor, I thought fat chance.  He got clobbered.  No surprise.  Let's move on.

And Virginia was no surprise either.  Is it me, or did Winsome lack any appeal?  I mean, I never felt she brought anything to the table.  She lacked a platform, and her numbers reflect that.

In the end, yesterday doesn't mean much in the grand scheme of things.  It was absolutely not a repudiation of President Trump.  Not in the least.  The primary sad event is the election in New York.  Again, no surprise.  The majority of people in New York have a very low intellect IMHO.  How can anyone think voting for an islamic foreigner from Uganda, who has no work experience relevant to being mayor, who just turned 34 has a clue?  He is so out of his depth it is sad.

Unfortunately, Trump's affection for New York will have him bailing out this scumbag the moment he needs it.  I say let New York die like Detroit.  It is not worth saving.  Better it die, than to keep buffering it and kicking the can down the road.

I expect a mass exodux.  The stock exchange will most likely re-locate to Dallas.  That will be a huge shot to New York causing it to die at an accelerated rate.  1 million people will leave in the next four years.  And with all that, the revenue will dissipate like steam.  Mamdami will be left with 40% less revenue.  He will be the bad news politician, if it can ever be said of an individual.  Nothing this fool will do will result in better life for the fools that voted for this ignorant schmuck.

His election was the best thing that could happen for the Republican Party.
