But that's why they keep letting them out.
If they sent them to prison, there would be a drop in crime, and they wouldn't need more funding for the police (that can be siphoned off into other things/pockets).

If the crisis ends, funding will dry up.

Seventeen Techniques for Truth Suppression

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

I beg to differ.

It is not just the criminals who are committing the crime.

All those who do not arrest those committing criminal acts, who support the release of criminals, who rally to their defense and who financially support both these groups are as criminal as those who commit the crimes.

As well as those who do nothing while crimes are being committed.

If anyone, then, knows the good they ought to do and doesn’t do it, it is sin for them. James 4:17

Remember that poor Ukraine immigrant who was murdered in front of onlookers who did nothing to help.

... and lenient DA's, lenient judges, and lenient legislators.

Many Mass State Reps and Senators are/were also defense attorneys.  Being lenient on crime is good for bu$ine$$.

  • Ah, the air is so much fresher here...
It's easier to destroy than to build, and that's the sad leverage of criminality. A few can do great destruction in a short time, and the Leftists know this as they use it for the marxist societal deconstructionism.

Yeah, just think what effort it took to produce a Charlie Kirk over his 31 years and then how easily(and quickly) the left destroyed that man.
