An asteroid strike that caused a global extinction event would return us to 100% renewable energy.

Solar and Wind are not cost-competitive with other sources of energy.  It is uneconomical to eschew the most available and most cost-effective means to produce energy.

How much lower would food inflation be if corn wasn't being redirected by central planning government mandated ethanol?

How much lower would energy inflation be if Government hadn't interfered in energy markets to close less costly power plants to replace them with more expensive Solar and Wind?

If left unchecked, the Global Climate Change crowd would have banned chemical fertilizers and instigated a global famine that would have push people to destroy rain forests to use as farmed lands.

Technology can advance to help us reduce pollutants.

While man can reduce His emmissions, he cannot stop Nature's emissions - volcanoes and wildfires.

We are passengers on this great blue marble.  We need to care for it as much as we can, but Man is not the one in charge of this planet.
