In Case You Missed It Dept.:

James Comey was indicted by a federal grand jury in Virginia Thursday climaxing nine years of partisan strife and personal subterfuge swirling around the former FBI Director. James Comey was indicted for misleading the American people. Disney promptly suspended him indefinitely from ABC.

President Trump urged liberals to stop calling political opponents Hitler Tuesday, warning that eventually the conservative reaction won't be pretty. This much I know. Back in the 1920s and 30s, liberals in Germany listened to what Hitler had to say and called him Hitler, and that did NOT end well.

Bobby Kennedy warned pregnant mothers not to take Tylenol because it could result in autism in their newborn babies. Not all the medical experts agree. All I know from my own experience is that Tylenol does NOT cause autism, and I've said it over and over and over and over and over and over.

The New York Post reported a poll that shows that Americans are evenly and bitterly split over culture and politics. It's a dilemma for comedians. I want my name on the Comedy Store marquee to attract a sold-out audience tonight, but I don't know whether to change my name to Charlie or Jimmy.

Jimmy Kimmel returned Tuesday after his one-week suspension. He opened saying he did not mean to single out a group for inciting the Utah shooter when he singled out MAGA Republicans for inciting the Utah shooter. America is still mourning the loss of jokes in late-night talk show monologues.

Bill Clinton hosted luminaries at his Clinton Global Initiative forum at the UN on Tuesday and enjoyed the spotlight. The Navy reported construction on the USS Bill Clinton aircraft carrier begins in 2030. You'd think that something that big and full of seamen would be christened the USS Lewinsky.

Kamala Harris reportedly has infuriated the Biden camp with her disparaging assessment of Joe in her campaign memoir 107 Days. The backlash to her could get nasty when Joe re-enters the public forum. Check the calendar and you will see we've just entered Joe Biden's signature season, Fall.

President Trump unveiled the Presidential Walk of Fame along the White House Colonnade wall Tuesday with every president pictured, except Biden's is a picture of an autopen. To me it shows Trump has a kind nature. If Trump were as mean as a comedian, he'd have put up Jill's picture.

President Trump presented a 20-point peace proposal to Hamas intended to end the long war between Palestinians and Israel. If accepted it will cinch the Nobel Peace Prize for Trump. Hours later, a San Francisco federal judge overruled Trump's proposal and ordered both sides to keep fighting.

I don't want to say America is at the boiling point, but the Museum of Tolerance just changed its name to What the Hell Did You Just Call Me?

Team Europe successfully retained the Ryder Cup and defeated Team USA Sunday for world golf bragging rights. Afterwards President Trump took full responsibility for our team's loss. When he demanded that Europe spend more money on defense, he did NOT mean in defense of the Ryder Cup.

Senator John Fetterman urged fellow Democrats to knock off what he called the dangerously divisive rhetoric being thrown about on the floor of Congress. Last week, Congresswoman Ilhan Omar stated that white men are the most violent men in the world. And she left Somalia for Minnesota?

Puerto Rican rap star Bad Bunny was selected Monday to perform at the Super Bowl halftime show in San Francisco. For 20 minutes football fans will be entertained by a cross-dresser who can't speak English. It could be worse, in the previous administration he'd have been a cabinet member.

Vice President JD Vance lashed out at Democrats following violence against ICE agents and accused them of encouraging crazy people to act out against law enforcement. JD may not have been thinking when he told Gavin Newsom to go straight to Hell. To be fair, Gavin already lives in California.

President Trump unveiled a framed picture gallery of every US president along the wall of the White House Colonnade. It's for all the tour groups to enjoy seeing. Every president is pictured but Biden, who's represented by a picture of an Auto Pen, and Bill Clinton who's represented by a cigar.

President Trump announced he's sending US troops to Portland in order to protect ICE agents from violent attacks by radical street protestors. There were other alternatives to keeping the peace. What Trump failed to consider before sending in the troops is that Tonya Harding still lives in Portland.

The New York Post reports a woman driver in Massachusetts jumped out of her car on a lake road to scream at an ICE agent, not noticing that her car was rolling into the lake. The video of the submerged car is hilarious. Seeing it was in Massachusetts I'm just glad that a Kennedy wasn't involved.

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell said London now has the NFL fan base to become the first overseas NFL franchise soon. Not everyone there reacts happily about England's NFL fan base. Local residents complain there are so many Americans are living in London it hardly feels like Pakistan anymore.

Seventeen Techniques for Truth Suppression

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

Thank you, Mr. Pookie.
If a political party does not have its foundation in the determination to advance a cause that is right and that is moral, then it is not a political party; it is merely a conspiracy to seize power.     -Dwight Eisenhower-

"The [U.S.] Constitution is a limitation on the government, not on private individuals ... it does not prescribe the conduct of private individuals, only the conduct of the government ... it is not a charter for government power, but a charter of the citizen's protection against the government."     -Ayn Rand-

In a time of universal deceit - telling the truth is a revolutionary act.
More than any other time in history, mankind faces a crossroads. One path leads to despair and utter hopelessness. The other, to total extinction. Let us pray we have the wisdom to choose correctly.-Woody Allen
If God invented marathons to keep people from doing anything more stupid, the triathlon must have taken him completely by surprise.
