PASCO COUNTY, Fla. - A multi-agency investigation led to the arrest of six individuals allegedly involved in a significant narcotics drug trafficking organization (DTO) operating in Pasco County.
The Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE), working in partnership with the Pasco Sheriff’s Office, culminated a months-long operation with the arrests on September 19 and September 25, 2025.
The investigation, which began in June 2025 following a tip regarding local narcotics trafficking, utilized multiple undercover purchases to identify those involved.
Officials seized a substantial cache of illegal substances and weapons, including over 2.7 pounds of fentanyl, a half-pound of cocaine, a quarter-pound of cannabis, four firearms, and over $1,000 in U.S. currency.
The case has taken a particularly tragic turn, as the investigation revealed the DTO was directly linked to at least two fentanyl overdose victims, one being a 2-year-old child. One of the victims was able to identify Christopher Templeton, 36, who authorities say is a local narcotics distributor and a central figure in the ring.
