Just when ABC thought they could slink back to business as usual by reinstating Jimmy Kimmel’s late-night trash heap after his vile lies about Charlie Kirk’s assassin being “MAGA,” major affiliates are saying “not on our watch.” Nexstar Media Group, owning 32 ABC stations, announced Tuesday they’re joining Sinclair Broadcast Group in preempting “Jimmy Kimmel Live!”

Political commentator and alleged comedian Kimmel was too immature to apologize for his lies.

That was too much for Sinclair and Nexstar, so they just said "no thanks" ...

And - before the Lefties start screaming - it's NOT censorship, it's just saying no to a crappy product that won't sell. The affiliates gotta be able to make money too.

Combined that's over 60 large market stations refusing to air Kimmel.  There may be smaller stations too....

You know, I just want entertainment to entertain, let me forgot my daily grind like it used to, and make me laugh or engage my mind from time to time.

I don't want to be propagandized or preached at by someone shoving their morality down my throat, or heavy hack jingo.

And I want news that actually reports the full facts of what happened, not the slant. I'll let the punditry shows and articles give their take if I choose to.

Just want media without the heavy ideology on either side. I can critical think and analyze for myself thank you. Seems like Sinclair operates along those lines.

I'm sure they have to pay for the show whether they air it or not, there's probably a contract, but it will kill Kimmel's ratings and cause his commercials to become cheaper than ever.  Meanwhile, the affiliates can charge for avails on the programs and not have to split the revenue with ABC. 

Sinclair and Nexstar will make out just fine if they get the preemptive programming relatively cheap.
