Operation Midway Blitz: ICE Rounding Up Dangerous Illegals Across Sanctuary City Chicago
Federal authorities have arrested a slew of dangerous illegal aliens across the sanctuary city of Chicago this week.
On Monday, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) launched Operation Midway Blitz, surging federal assets into the Windy City to track down the “worst of the worst” criminals aliens, many of whom were released back to the streets despite committing heinous crimes.
While the exact number of apprehensions has not yet been made public, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has published information about some of the most egregious offenders hunted down during the first days of the operation, including:
Carlos Roman-Berrera. Mexico. Arrested for aggravated sexual assault of a child family member and convicted of DUI.
Bernardino Perez-Arrevillaga. Mexico. Convicted of aggravated sexual assault victim 13-17 and sex offender registration violation.
Varinderpal Singh. India. Convicted of strongarm rape.
Juan Manuel Gaspar-Nochebuena. Mexico. Convicted of criminal sexual abuse of a child.
