Chicago's ex-police chief reveals REAL reason Democrats are 'afraid' of Trump crime crackdown in city

The former head of the Chicago Police Department said the city's mayor and the governor of Illinois are 'afraid' that President Donald Trump would successfully bring down crime by sending in federal troops.

Gov. JB Pritzker and Mayor Brandon Johnson have said they do not want any help from the federal government when it comes to law enforcement in one of the country's most crime-ridden cities.

Former Chicago police Superintendent Jody Weis questioned their stance and said the state Democrats are scared of being humiliated if Trump's approach works.

'So, to me, when you refuse help you are saying you are happy with the numbers - and that is absolutely unacceptable in Chicago right now,' Weis told The National News Desk.

'I think they are afraid that people will see what can be done if politicians commit to taking action and really want to make a difference,' he added.

Despite pushback from the governor and mayor, Trump made a clear commitment on Tuesday to send National Guard troops to the Windy City.

'We're going in,' the president said. 'I didn't say when. We're going in.'

Weis also said he believes that the governor and mayor would be more willing to cooperate if the president was a Democrat.

That's just what I thought when I saw Brandon Johnson foaming at the mouth absolutely raging about Trump stopping crime in Chicago. His uncontrolled anger was way beyond a 'political opinion', it is deeply personal to him. From what I saw, he was ready to pick up a gun and start shooting National Guard members right then on the spot. His eyes were glowing red. CRIME IS OUR RIGHT!!

A person does not get that emotionally invested in a political issue unless it is affecting him personally. Johnson is in it neck deep, which is why he is so invested in illegal immigration and illegal immigrants. He is providing them housing, protection from ICE, money, health-care, cellphones, and free food, but does not have 2 minutes to worry about all the Black citizens or any other citizens of Chicago. If the leaders of the Mexican cartels were running Chicago, they would not do anything any differently than Johnson is currently doing.

Illegals are everything to him. Nobody else matters. And he is fanatical about it. This tells me that he is getting paid. And he is getting paid a lot, likely in overseas banks. I hope the FBI is looking into this guy. He acts like he is dirty, and he stinks of corruption and he certainly hates America and American citizens.

Back in the 1920's, certain Chicago officials impeded the FBI's efforts to take down Al Capone's gambling and bootlegging empire. It turned out of course that many of them were on the take.

One reasonably wonders whether the gangs that are running multi-million dollar drug and property theft operations in today's Windy City might also be "sharing the wealth".
