Rangers Win. The United States Army Special Operations Command (USASOC) “Best Squad Competition 2025” was won by a team from the Ranger Regiment. The competition has number of difficult events to include a 12-mile ruck march, land navigation course, and more.

SO Imperatives: From 12 to 5. The new Field Manual 3-05, Army Special Operations, has streamlined the special operations imperatives from twelve to five. The new list is a more integrated and user-friendly list that reflects the changes in the contemporary strategic environment.
