The Supreme Court has allowed the Trump administration to deport immigrants to third countries where they may face torture or death, lifting a lower court’s 15-day notice requirement and limiting time for legal appeals. U.S. District Judge Brian Murphy required "credible fear" interviews in immigrants’ native languages before deportation. The Supreme Court’s decision overrides this, allowing deportations without those safeguards.
