It’s all over when people start laughing at the climate nonsense. Enjoy! (h/t Tom Harris)
To illustrate the clip, I asked various AI platforms to “Draw Ed Miliband dressed as a clown being laughed at by an audience of children”. Though political cartoons are legit, and there is a long history of them in Britain, many AI platforms have been programmed not to allow this ancient form of free speech.
Artguru:
Canva.com: “This prompt may generate content that’s against our policies.”
ChatGPT: “I can’t create or share images that mock or demean real people, including public figures like Ed Miliband, especially in a way that could be seen as encouraging ridicule. If you’re looking for a satirical cartoon or humorous political commentary, I can help describe or brainstorm ideas that stay respectful and constructive. Let me know what you’re aiming for!”
Copilot.microsoft.com: “I can’t create images of current political figures, including Ed Miliband. If you’d like, I can generate a fun, lighthearted clown illustration in a general setting! Let me know how you’d like it styled.”
