Sean “Diddy” Combs was again denied bail in his sex trafficking case Wednesday — his third failed bid to get sprung from a Brooklyn lockup ahead of Thanksgiving.

Manhattan federal court Judge Arun Subramanian slapped down the disgraced music mogul’s latest request, saying in a ruling, “The Court finds that the government has shown by clear and convincing evidence that no condition or combination of conditions will reasonably assure the safety of the community.” ...

“It strains credulity to believe that Combs will stop engaging in criminal conduct and abide by conditions of release,” prosecutors said in a court filing earlier this month.

The feds also argued that releasing Combs would let the wealthy music mogul buy his way out of custody by “paying for a private jail” — amounting to “two-tiered” system of justice which is barred by federal bail rules. ...

NEW YORK —  Sean “Diddy” Combs will return to court in Manhattan on Friday for a pretrial hearing in his federal criminal case, where the embattled recording artist and businessman will be arraigned on a superseding indictment.

In recent weeks, prosecutors added additional allegations related to the racketeering conspiracy charge Combs faces, alleging Combs forced an employee to engage in sex acts and threatened others with physical force and financial harm if they did not help him carry out a sex trafficking scheme that lasted two decades. While the amended indictment does not include additional charges, the allegations were recently expanded to include three victims.

Combs has pleaded not guilty to three charges of sex trafficking, transportation to engage in prostitution and racketeering conspiracy.

He is currently being held at a federal detention center in New York City as he awaits trial set to start on May 5. Attorneys for Combs have petitioned for jury selection to start on that date, with opening statements to follow on May 13. Prosecutors want jury selection begin on April 21. 

Prosecutors have accused Combs and others of coercing at least three women to engage in sex acts with him and, at times, with male prostitutes. The occasions where prosecutors say the women were often drugged and forced to engage in sex for days were known as “Freak Offs.”  ...

Combs is accused of sexually abusing/raping over 100 women and men, usually with knockout drugs and many sexual perversions involved.

This isn't OJ vs. The System, this is a malicious monster finally being brought to justice.

A woman set to testify that Sean “Diddy” Combs coerced her into sexual acts may not take the stand, the feds say — possibly delivering a blow to the high-profile prosecution before a jury is even seated.

The witness, dubbed “Victim-3” in court papers, had been expected to tell jurors that Combs “sexually exploited” her during his alleged decades-long reign of sexual terror, prosecutors say.

But the prosecution team admitted during jury selection this week that it’s been having trouble contacting the person or her lawyer, who has been dealing with undisclosed “personal issues.”  ...
