A new exposé about Sen. John Fetterman's, D-Pa., time on Capitol Hill set social media ablaze on Friday.

The report raised questions about alleged tensions with his wife, Gisele, over his health regimen, his stance on Israel and her reported run-ins with his staff.

In "All By Himself: John Fetterman insists he is in good health, but staffers past and present say they no longer recognize the man they once knew," New York Magazine’s Intelligencer lays out recollections from current and former staff members who worked for the Pennsylvania Democrat. In May 2022, Fetterman suffered a serious stroke mid-Senate campaign against Dr. Mehmet Oz.

The article relates several reported instances, including a February 2023 situation at a Democratic caucus retreat at the Library of Congress.

A staffer told the outlet that he received a message questioning how Fetterman was doing, as he was found sitting at a table alone, silently drinking a soda.

The report went on to claim the lawmaker was "nearly struck by a car" and found "wandering" Capitol Hill.

Physicians at George Washington University Hospital later determined he was severely dehydrated, and had not had a second stroke as feared.

An ensuing discussion with then-Sen. Sherrod Brown, D-Ohio, found Fetterman to be nearly "catatonic" when Brown tried to talk with him. Soon after, on Feb. 15, he was admitted to Walter Reed Medical Center.

After being discharged, Fetterman "threw himself into" his Senate work and became more vociferous than ever on issues like the Israel-Gaza conflict and other topics that have rankled his Democratic colleagues.

He also took a leading role in calling for the ouster of now-former Sen. Robert Menendez, D-N.J., amid corruption allegations.

I flew back from Dulles after the TSA made me dump out my good water and refill my bottle with the local excuse. That half liter of water lasted me through Denver and back to ND, where I still had half of it left when I arrived. Nasty stuff.

Behind closed doors, Senator John Fetterman’s (D-PA) political world appears to be unraveling — and according to a new report, even his wife is no longer on board.

An exposé by New York Magazine has cast fresh doubts on the senator’s fitness to serve, with bombshell details alleging a deteriorating mental state, erratic behavior, and isolation from his staff and family. But perhaps the most shocking detail: Fetterman’s wife, Gisele, reportedly reached a breaking point and sought to publicly distance herself from his political positions.

“I am at breaking point and I can’t co-sign this any longer,” she reportedly wrote in a text to a staffer. “I’d love some help in language to separate myself from this. Can anyone help me?”

Gisele’s message came in the wake of a heated exchange in Fetterman’s Senate office, where she reportedly confronted her husband over his stance on the Israel-Gaza conflict. “They are bombing refugee camps. How can you support this?” she said through tears. Fetterman’s reply: “That’s all propaganda.”

They really do just make it all up as they go along. Fetterman was fine when he was demonstrably worse because there was an election to win, and now he’s a problem now that he’s slightly better because he likes Israel.

Let's be honest about what the Fetterman NY Mag hit piece actually is:

Fetterman's former longtime aide Adam Jentleson wrote an email a year ago detailing health issues he saw. This stayed private because it was not politically expedient to leak it. Now his "friend" Ben Terris uses it as the singular piece of evidence in his lengthy attack on Fetterman's health, in an attempt to push him out of the Senate.

Why? Because what's obvious to everyone is that Fetterman's health is improving, not declining. He was far worse than his staff let on back in 2023, but has improved, as expected, from the stroke, as is clear in his interviews and interactions.

At the same time, his politics have shifted to the middle. He is overtly pro-Israel in a party that is increasingly anti-Israel. He is open to talking to Trump and engaging with the other side at a time when his party wants to otherize the right. Jentleson and his other aides are Dem party operatives who will do anything to hurt their former boss.

Covering up his ailments was useful when he was a steady Dem party pawn, voting exactly how they want and saying exactly what they want. But now that he's a wildcard - almost an antagonist to the establishment - and a disruptor within his party, the stories get told about, again, what was happening well over a year ago.

Watch how the press uses this hit piece to try to push him out, and cover his health issues in a way they covered up for years - because now it's socially acceptable. It's the Biden playbook all over again.

With his wife shivving him, I bet he folds.  Word in Pennsylvania is that she has deluded herself into believing that she can somehow replace him or win an election on her own, even though she is an illegal alien.
