The drones that are really changing the battlefield are quadcopters (and more rotors) that are surveilling, bombing, acting as forward observers for artillery and delivering targeting data, and carrying explosives to the enemy, up close and personal.
Ukraine's adoption and use thereof has rewritten ground conflict, from the air, and from a distance from the enemy.
