Trump Answers More Media Questions than Biden

In less than 100 days into his second term as president Donald Trump had directly answered ninety unfiltered questions from the media during his three broadcast cabinet meetings. In his four years as president Joe Biden answered only five questions from the media following the nine cabinet meetings he held during his four-year term of office.

White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt cited these statistics as proof that "President Trump is being more transparent than his predecessor by leaps and bounds. He's letting voters see his cabinet meetings in real time. He and his cabinet members are taking questions and answering them in front of TV cameras." She went on to compare "President Trump's openness with former President Biden's typically brief prepared statements where he either took no questions or only responded to previously screened questions."

Senate Minority Leader Charles Schumer (D-NY) called Leavitt's comparison "unfair. Trump's unscreened free-for-alls cannot be compared to the carefully vetted events held by former President Biden. Trump's spontaneity bypassed the carefully planned Biden events where the administration and trusted media allies agreed on what questions would be asked and answered ahead of time. This ensured that only the most relevant and important issues would consume the valuable time allotted. It also ensured that President Biden would have adequate time to prepare his answers. Remember, quality is more important than quantity."

Apprised of Schumer's remarks, Leavitt said "President Trump is confident that he can leave the judgment about the comparative quality of his open approach vs the staged approach of his predecessor to the viewing public. He doesn't believe that voters can rely on the media to edit these events without distorting the truth. Let's not forget how the media aided in the concealment of President Biden's dementia for the first three-and-a-half years of his time in office. I can't see how Senator Schumer could overlook such a glaring disservice to the Americans who need to know what kind of person is supposedly running their government."

SAVE Act Assailed

This week the US House of Representatives passed the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility Act (SAVE Act) by a vote of 220 to 208. If also passed by the Senate this legislation would require proof of citizenship to vote.

Rep. Joe Morelle (NY) spoke out against the legislation calling it "excessively burdensome and unnecessary. Republicans contend that this legislation is needed to prevent the votes of citizens from being diluted by votes cast by non-citizens. They neglect to mention that it its already illegal for non-citizens to vote in most jurisdictions. Though I am pleased to say that most Democrats recognize the fundamental injustice of restricting voting in this way and are taking steps to remedy this undemocratic feature."

House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La) observed that "Democrats say it's already illegal to vote as a non-citizen, but that doesn't mean that you don't need further enforcement. Murdering someone is already illegal and rare everywhere in the United States, but we don't rely on the honor system to deter this crime from being committed. We recognize that further efforts are necessary. Presumably, illegal voting is also rare, but DOGE has been finding clues that indicate it may be more common than Democrats would like to admit. Polls consistently show that a substantially majority of American citizens support voter ID requirements."

Nineteen Democrat Attorneys General filed a lawsuit arguing that "the federal government requiring an ID to vote is unconstitutional because it interferes with each state's constitutional right to regulate the time, place, and manner of federal elections."

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) and House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) assert that "the decision on whether to allow non-citizens to vote is a right reserved to the states by Article I, Section 4 of the US Constitution. Trump's order instructing state officials to make their voter roll data available to DOGE so it can be probed for possible fraud is an abuse of power the president does not have."

Human rights expert Sunny Hostin, co-host of ABC's The View, challenged the concept that there should be any restrictions on who gets to vote, saying "voting is a human right that should not be restricted to only citizens. Prohibiting non-citizens from voting subjects them to the tyranny of those who are permitted to vote. This is fundamentally wrong. For true democracy to work every person who asks for a ballot should be given a ballot, no questions asked. Making folks show IDs to get ballots is racist and unfair."

In other election integrity news, Tulsi Gabbard, US Director of National Intelligence (DNI), announced "we have evidence of how electronic voting systems have been vulnerable to hackers for a very long time and vulnerable to exploitation to manipulate the results of the votes being cast."

Schumer Won't Condemn Violence Against Tesla

Senate Minority Leader Charles Schumer (D-NY) refused to consent to a reporter's plea "so do you denounce the violence against Tesla products, dealerships and cars?" Instead, he asserted that "Elon Musk s a disaster for America and America knows it. A poll conducted by the Network Contagion Research Institute (NCRI) at Rutger's University found that 48% and 55% of poll respondents believe that murdering Musk and Trump, respectively, might be justified. We shouldn't be surprised that some might strike back against the damage these two have done to our country through violence."

Musk pointed out that "the 48% and 55% open to murder in that poll were all left-of-center ideologues. For all the whining that Democrats have been doing about the supposed threat to democracy presented by Trump we now find them aligning themselves with the kind of violence that the Nazis and Communists used to overthrow democracies. As bad as the historical violence perpetrated by these leftists was when they were out of power, it got worse once they were in power. Tens of millions of people were ruthlessly exterminated by followers of these demonic ideologies."

"Well, I think the lives destroyed by DOGE's gutting of the federal bureaucracy is worse than the paltry cost of a few fire-bombed Teslas," Schumer asserted. "Further, merely expressing the opinion that Musk and Trump might justly be killed for the harm they have done to this country is protected freedom of speech. As long as a person doesn't pull the trigger on an assassination I can't blame them for their schadenfreude should someone else cause the demise of these two public enemies."

Dems: We Need More Immigrants

Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-Tex) lashed out at President Trump for "destroying the symbiotic relationship we Democrats has been building with immigrants under our policy of open borders. We Blacks have done our time picking cotton so whites could live the good life. Well, we done pickin' cotton. Now its time for someone else to do the pickin' fo us. The millions of new immigrants can pay back our generosity by doing the back-breaking agricultural work that needs to be done, the house-cleaning, lawn-mowing, and all the other jobs we done doin."

Sen. Adam Schiff (D-Calif) admitted "while I lack the specific life experience that makes Rep. Crockett the ideal spokesperson for the cause of importing more foreign labor, I can attest to the unrecognized importance of keeping the flow coming in. It's estimated that half of California's farmer workforce is undocumented. How are farmers in California supposed to survive if there are truly mass deportations in which half of the workforce is sent out of the country? Americans don't want to do that work. It's frankly too backbreaking. So, who's going to work the farms?"

New York City Mayor Eric Adams wondered "why are all these presumed field workers coming to New York City? There are no agricultural jobs for them. The Biden Administration sent us money to put them up in hotels and feed them. Now the Trump Administration is discontinuing those subsidies. How are we supposed to take care of these people?"

"You're not supposed to take care of them," President Trump said. "They're in the country illegally. They need to go back where they came from. Of course, your predecessor decreeing New York a sanctuary city created expectations that can't be fulfilled. A sanctuary is a place of refuge and protection. Providing these things takes money. For a while, the Biden Administration was willing to pay by borrowing beyond our means to repay the debt. This can't go on. We have to cut federal government spending before we go bankrupt. This means sending foreigners who cannot support themselves to work--either back in their home countries or in jobs they can do here. They cannot continue to live here at the taxpayers' expense."

In related news, DOGE reports that Department of Labor records show it has paid 24,500 people over 115 years of age $59 million in benefits, 28,000 people between 1 and 5 years of age were paid $254 million in benefits, and 9,700 people with birth dates over 15 years in the future were paid $69 million in benefits. Labor Secretary Lori Chavez-Deremer insisted that "we cannot abide this fraud draining away taxpayers' hard-earned money."

Sen. Schiff pointed out that "someone is counting on these payments to sustain their existence. Cutting them off will have a human cost that Musk and Trump are not considering. This is why DOGE must be stopped."

Biden's Chinese Spy Cover-up

Internal State Department documents reveal that in 2023 when a Chinese spy balloon coasted across North America collecting intelligence, Biden Administration officials were more worried about how public exposure of this intrusion would affect our relationship with China than they were about the security breach.

When Secretary of State Antony Blinken attempted to discuss the matter with President Biden he was told "Hunter says there nothing to be concerned about. He is in direct contact with members of the Chinese government who purchased the balloon's 'visitation rights' from him. It's only gathering weather data to help better prepare for potential storm fronts that might drift into China."

"I stayed cool," Blinken remembered. "After a few days the whole event blew over. We were able to minimize the people's concerns. We postponed shooting the balloon down until the Chinese government informed us that the weather observations had been completed. No one was hurt. The Chinese government was not offended. We maintained peace between our two countries. All-in-all, I'd have to say it was our most impressive diplomatic accomplishment of the Biden Presidency."

In related news, this week the Chinese government issued a "risk alert" for Chinese spies traveling to the United States saying "due to the deterioration of China-US relations since the replacement of the government led by Joe Biden with that led by Donald Trump, the level of safety and comfort we enjoyed from the payments made to the Biden family cannot be assured under the new regime. Access to secret locations and data will encounter more difficulty and resistance. Many formerly trusted inside sources have been removed from their positions of power and authority. Their replacements do not appear to share the same desire for cooperation even when generous financial incentives are discreetly offered."
