Impeachment Plan Gains Crucial Endorsements
Story by James Edwards • 16h

House Republicans have advanced a resolution to impeach U.S. District Court Judge James Boasberg after his emergency order halted the Trump administration's deportation flights under the Alien Enemies Act. Rep. Brandon Gill (R-TX) introduced the resolution with support from 22 co-sponsors. Despite its support, some GOP leaders have expressed hesitation to endorse impeachment as an accountability method and have raised concerns about its efficacy.

Why hesitate?  The supreme court just rejected Boasberg's position.  Boasberg created a massive backlash against Trump, threatens to create a bigger one yet, and didn't have the authority to ORDER the President of the United States to turn a flight around in mid-air.
