MSNBC in Crisis: Rachel Maddow Lost a Quarter of Her Viewers Since Trump Victory
By: Jason Walsh
March 14, 2025

MSNBC host Rachel Maddow has suffered a dramatic loss in viewership since President Donald Trump claimed victory in the 2024 election.

Anyone with half a brain cell knows exactly why this has happened. For years, Maddow has been race-baiting, calling millions of Americans fascists, and pushing the fake Russia collusion hoax.

Now, it looks like the chickens are finally coming home to roost.

Trump’s election victory was the final straw for Maddow. No longer can she pretend that she’s talking to the majority when, in fact, she’s spouting her unhinged leftist propaganda to a shrinking echo chamber.

Maddow’s show has shed a whopping quarter of her viewers since Trump’s win.

From January 2024 until Election Day, The Rachel Maddow Show averaged 2.3 million viewers.

However, it has since shed 22%, dropping to an average audience of 1.8 million from Trump’s victory through March 7.
