Obscene, Grotesque & Despicable Pardons

Newly pardoned Sen. Adam Schiff (D-Calif) lashed out at President Trump's pardons for 1500 individuals convicted for their participation in the alleged insurrection at the US Capitol on January 6, 2021, calling them "obscene and grotesque. Our democracy hung by as thread that day as a mob of MAGA extremists trespassed into the Capitol building forcing 100s of frightened members of Congress, myself included, to flee in fear for our lives."

Newly pardoned Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-Md), condemned "the unjust release of domestic terrorists who tried to overthrow our government is despicable. If it weren't for the shooting of one of the insurrectionists by a heroic Capitol Police officer she might have killed me. I am thankful she didn't live to escape justice like the 1500 others that Trump pardoned this week who will now serve as his reserve army of political foot soldiers."

Newly pardoned former Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-Ill) lamented that "Trump's pardons for the 1500 January 6 rioters has unleashed dangerous criminals onto our streets. This adds yet another impeachable offense to his already shameful record. I'm 100% confident that everybody that's supporting these pardons, everybody that was pardoned and the president himself will go down in history as very, very scorned."

Sen. Markwayne Mullin (R-Ok) called the complaints about Trump's pardons "ludicrous. While there was some disorderly and violent behavior by a small minority of the 1500, those individuals have already served longer sentences in jail than individuals who did far worse during the George Floyd riots. None of the 1500 were even charged with, much less convicted of insurrection because none of them brought the weapons needed to overthrow the government. None of them killed anyone."

"Let's take a look at some of the pardons and commutations President Biden issued the past few weeks," Mullin suggested. "He commuted the sentences of 37 murders on death row. He also pardoned all of the members of the House Select Committee to Investigate the January 6th Attack on the United States Capitol even though none of them have been charged with a crime. He pardoned his family members for any crimes they may have committed since 2014. This was after he explicitly promised that he wouldn't do that. Trump ran on a promise that he would pardon of the 1500. Doesn't his election win give him a mandate to fulfill that promise?"

"No it doesn't," Schiff replied. "No one expects promises made by politicians to be kept. It's all part of the game of getting elected. President Biden's promise not to pardon family members was made in the true spirit of how to win votes. Since he didn't get elected there isn't even a moral argument that he should keep his promise."

In related news, Trump also pardoned 23 individuals who were imprisoned for advocating for life outside of abortion clinics. Trump asserted that "the completely peaceful expression of views one disagrees with must never be suppressed in a free country. The Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances (FACE) Act was improperly exploited by the Biden Administration to silence the voices of those who oppose the killing of babies. The only thing the 23 I pardoned used were words and prayers, both of which are protected in the First Amendment to our Constitution."

Planned Parenthood CEO Alexis McGill Johnson disagreed with Trump, saying "expectant mothers seeking to abort their child are already emotionally strained by a difficult decision. Having to pass by people who disagree with their decision, even it is only silent praying, is meant to shame them into letting their babies live. Access to abortion is a human right that must not be impeded in any way. Those whose methods are psychological are just as dangerous to this right as those who would physically prevent them from entering one of our clinics."

Liars Lose Security Clearances

President Trump used his authority to strip the security clearances of those who can't be trusted from the 51 former US intelligence officials who signed a letter warning that Hunter Biden's laptop was a Russian disinformation campaign. The 51 said "our national security experience made us deeply suspicious that the Russian government played a significant role in this case." As a matter of fact, there was no evidence that Russia was in any way connected with Hunter's laptop. The FBI had already verified it was really Hunter's laptop in 2019, although this information was not publicly revealed until after Joe Biden was declared the winner of the 2020 presidential election.

The 51's mendacious letter went public on October 19, 2020--two weeks before election day. Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg admitted this letter influenced him to suppress stories about Hunter's laptop on FaceBook. "I thought I was doing the patriotic thing at the time. After all, it wouldn't be right for a foreign country to meddle in our elections."

John Brennan, head of the CIA during Obama presidency, said "losing my security clearance puts the United States in grave danger. It's only because of this clearance that I was able to provide the advice that made President Biden's foreign policy so successful. Now, I won't be able to provide that same kind of advice to Trump."

"Considering how disastrous President Biden's foreign policy has been, I think President Trump will be better off without Brennan's advice. Biden made a mess of withdrawing troops from Afghanistan, released billions of dollars to Iran that enabled them to fund more terrorists to stir up trouble in Israel and elsewhere, and pour over a hundred billion dollars into an unwinnable war in Ukraine that has Russia threatening World War III in retaliation. Is any of this a result of Brennan's advice? If it is, he should've asked for one of those precautionary pardons Biden was dishing out a few days before he left the White House."

Strange Allies Assail RFK Jr

During the presidential election campaign, the progressive-leaning organization Sixteen Thirty Fund (1630) gave money to Retire Career Politicians (RCP) so it could support Robert F. Kennedy, jr.'s campaign for president. Oddly, the money continued to flow even after RFK had dropped out of the race. Now, 1630 is giving money to Protect Our Care (POC) which is running the Stop RFK War Room effort to keep Kennedy from becoming Secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).

A spokesperson for 1630 explained "it's all about thwarting Trump. Surveys showed that as a candidate, Kennedy was taking more votes away from Trump than he would from President Biden or Vice-President Kamala Harris. Keeping RFK's name on the ballot and urging folks to vote for him might have swung the election to the Democrat. Once that effort failed we looked for other opportunities to block Trump's agenda. POC is painting RFK as "a lunatic spreading lies about vaccines. If he becomes Secretary of HHS he will have a bigger media presence and larger audience for his lies."

RFK defended his position on vaccines, saying "vaccines need to be thoroughly tested before being injected into millions of people. The covid vaccines weren't. Further, even for vaccines that are adequately tested and approved, like the list of prescribed immunizations for infants and children, should not be given in multiple doses within the short periods of time that they are. Every vaccine stresses the body. When an infant gets multiple vaccines all at once and in frequent intervals the stress is multiplied."

"One effect I and others have observed is the association between the massive increase in injections and a dramatic increase in autism. In the early 1980s children received three vaccines for seven illnesses--for a total of two dozen doses by age 18. Now, children receive almost six dozen doses for sixteen diseases before they are 18. Fifty years ago, about 1 in 2500 children were deemed autistic. Today it is 1 in 36. I find that alarming. We need research to try to determine if the massive increases in vaccines the Center for Disease Control prescribes are causing this."

Meanwhile, former Vice-President Mike Pence also opposes RFK becoming Secretary of HHS "because he supports abortion." RFK pointed out that "the US Supreme Court has decided that dealing with the issue of abortion is a power reserved to the states by the Tenth Amendment to the US Constitution. As Secretary of HHS I would have no authority to interfere with any laws made approving, limiting, or outlawing abortion by any state government. Consequently, Mr. Pence's quest will not achieve his desired objective. His only practical course would be to try to persuade state legislatures to enact the type of abortion law he desires."

In other vaccine news, scientists from the Division of Pharmacodynamics at Keio University Faculty of Pharmacy and Yokohama General Hospital in Japan have discovered that "heart failure surges by up to 4,900% after a person receives a Covid mRNA injection. Professor Keisuke Takada found that "the risk of myocarditis is 20-50 times greater after receiving the shot. Myocardis restricts the heart's ability to pump blood around the body and can cause blood clots, strokes, cardiac arrest, and ultimately, sudden death."

Meanwhile, a new paper published in Nature Biotechnology reports that "the lipid nanoparticles (LNPs) used to deliver the mRNA in the Covid "vaccine" to the body's cells are considered dangerous toxins that can trigger deadly diseases if they spread through the body and infiltrate organs."

Differing Views on Trump's Deportation Order

The first victory in President Trump's battle to deport criminal aliens was achieved by an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) raid in Boston. The focus was on apprehending persons who illegally entered the US who are also criminals--gang members, murder suspects, and those with prior convictions. Over 300 arrests were made. A later raid in New York City netted pedophiles, gang members, and a suspected terrorist. Over 500 arrests were made. A planned raid in Chicago was preceded by an ABC News Chicago broadcast offering illegal immigrants advice on how to evade detection and arrest by ICE agents.

Acting deputy attorney general, Emil Bove, warned that "state and local authorities must cooperate with the immigration crackdown. Any government officer who fails to cooperate may be arrested and prosecuted. The Constitution and the laws enacted by Congress under the authority granted it by the Constitution are the supreme law of the land. The statute that is being enforced by ICE is 1911. 8 U.S.C. 1325. This law makes it illegal for a foreigner to enter the US without proper permission, evade border checkpoints, flee ICE, or use fraudulent methods to obtain unwarranted permission."

In anticipation of Trump's move to deport criminal aliens after he won the 2024 presidential election, the Los Angeles City Council unanimously voted to prohibit any City resources--property, personnel or equipment-- from being used for any immigration enforcement effort. Council Member Nithya Raman, co-sponsor of the measure, explained, "these people came here for a better life and they ought to be left alone. I know some of them have committed crimes, but until they're convicted they have a right to be left alone."

Mayor Mike Johnson (D-Co) called the crackdown "a calamity. We are a nation of immigrants. The vast majority of us would never have even been born if the original inhabitants of America had been able to keep our ancestors from invading this land. How can we justify expelling its current invaders? Denver will be joining a lawsuit to overturn this inhumane policy."

Mayor Eric Adams (D-NYC) promised that "City officials will stand up for all New Yorkers--documented and undocumented--to make sure you all get the government services and benefits you deserve. But since we won't have President Biden to give the City the money it needs every one of you may have to go on half rations for the next four years."

NJ to Stockpile Mifepristone

Gov. Phil Murphy (D-NJ) says "we will buy as much mifepristone as we can get our hands on so every woman who needs a chemically-induced abortion can get it. As the Supreme Court ruled, each state can craft whatever policy on abortion it wants to. I believe every woman is entitled to obtain this drug at no cost to herself regardless of where she lives. So, our state's policy will be to serve as the last hope for women living in places that have more restrictive policies."

"Though the 1873 Comstock Act prohibits the mailing of anything that could cause an abortion, the development of non-postal methods of shipping packages around the world eviscerates this prohibition," Murphy gloated. "The human right of abortion can be restored to every pregnant woman everywhere in the world thanks to the generosity of the voters of New Jersey."
