Western Pennsylvania paying the high price of Biden-Harris border crisis
Pittsburgh is on the verge of being taken over by mass immigration to the point where residents will flee
By Matthew Tragesser Fox News
Published October 4, 2024 5:00am EDT

My mother immigrated to Pittsburgh from Guatemala in the early 1980s under President Reagan, and I spent my first 20 years of life in South Hills. Unfortunately, today my hometown is nearly unrecognizable to me.

The reason why is simple: The system that existed when my mom came to the United States has been completely overwhelmed by the sheer number of migrants crossing our southern border today.

In the last two years, the migrant population in Pittsburgh has soared by 2,000%, and now it’s reaching crisis levels.

According to a Sept. 15 segment aired by CBS Pittsburgh, Charleroi – a borough nested along the Monongahela River – has been especially impacted by this influx. Schools are overstrained. Local stores are seeing less business because of crime concerns. And residents are watching their culture vanish before their eyes.

"And residents are watching their culture vanish before their eyes."

Once again, say it out loud:
"The Great Replacement".

But if you said it in front of many (most?) who are actually BEING "replaced", they'd likely call you "a racis'"...

Why should school districts have to accommodate speakers of every foreign language, and thus face the unfunded mandate of providing translators for who-knows-what lingo shows up? Perhaps students shouldn't be enrolled until they're deemed proficient in, you know, English.

I have arrived at the point where I no longer care what anyone calls me.
"I wish it need not have happened in my time," said Frodo.

"So do I," said Gandalf, "and so do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us."

What a novel idea!

I have a friend that immigrated legally from Mexico when she was 2 years old. Her family didn't speak English at home. So, when she was school age she was dropped into an environment that she had to learn, fast. And she did. She's one of the smartest people I know. Of course, this was in the early 60"s.

If I were to go to live in another country, the first thing I would do before leaving our shores is to learn the language. But that's just me.

Feds investigating company that supplies immigrant workers for Charleroi meatpacking plant

Charleroi has become a flash point in the presidential campaign, with former President Donald Trump saying Haitians are "invading" the Washington County town.

Action News Investigates has learned federal authorities are investigating a company that supplies immigrant workers to a major Charleroi employer.

Fourth Street Foods in Charleroi makes prepared meals that are sold in grocery stores across the country.

It employs 700 immigrants from 41 countries, many of them Haitians. ...

Many of Fourth Street's workers are actually employed by a contractor, Prosperity Services. Prosperity also transports workers in vans, which can be seen throughout Charleroi.

In court records, federal investigators said Prosperity "knowingly paid undocumented non-citizen employees with cash" and "transported and housed undocumented non-citizens for employment purposes."

Earlier this year, the feds seized nearly $1 million in cash from Prosperity and two men affiliated with the company, including Andy Ha, the company president. ...

Jan. 2025 UPDATE

This is wild. The tuberculosis story was on the Pittsburgh TV news the other night, and not a word was said about immigrants, but I commented to Mr. M at the time, "I bet it's an illegal."

Sure 'nuff ...

BIG SCANDAL UNFOLDING IN CHARLEROI, PA

Rumors were circulating that there was a tuberculosis outbreak in Charleoi School District. The school called it fake news.
Today they sent out a new notice that there was actually a kid with tuberculosis attending school without a doctor’s clearance.
Charleroi had a 2,000% increase in their Haitian migrant population and the school system had a 1,800% increase in their schools, overwhelmingly their school system.

They seem to be flooding 'deplorable' areas with illegal immigrants while sparing 'limousine liberal' areas.

Trump should rent out limousine liberal mansions on VRBO,etc, to use as shelters for illegal immigrants.  Put as many in each one as local fire departments deem safe.

Once the illegal immigrants start sapping rich town resources and attending rich public school districts, they'll be an uproar and backlash.

We need to hit the Limousine Liberals where it hurts them the most ... their backyards.

To take it further, border hawks could set up an NGO with a euphemistic name like 'Americans for Housing Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion' to also rent mansions to house the homesless, including illegal immigrants.

We'll use their own bleeding-heart limousine liberal saccharine hypocrisy against them.

... payback for their Forced Busing social re-engineering experiment in the 1970s.

From the source article:
