Fox News saw very healthy television ratings following the 2024 presidential election, outpacing competing networks by a wide margin.

In the four weeks since the election, starting from Nov. 6 through Dec. 4, Fox News captured 73% of prime-time viewers of cable news, while also getting 72% of viewers between the ages of 25 and 54. For prime time, the network is up by 16% with nearly 2.8 million viewers, and up 18% with viewers in the 25 through 54 age bracket, according to Nielsen Media Research.

Conversely, rival network CNN lost almost half of its prime-time viewers with 410,000 following the election and only received 81,000 from the age bracket. Likewise, MSNBC’s viewership also decreased, going down 53% with 621,000 viewers and 61% of viewers ages 25 through 54, totaling 57,000.

Among MSNBC’s shows decreasing in viewership is Morning Joe, which has seen its viewership decline by 18% following news the two co-hosts, Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski, met with President-elect Donald Trump at Mar-a-Lago. The network has also seen a decrease of 49% following the co-hosts’ revelation they spoke with Trump.

I can't watch MSNBC anymore.  It's non-stop hate on white males.

As bad as FOX is, they are still leaps and bounds ahead of the rest of the herd.

I guess the real question is one of how many people have faded off to OAN or Newsmax or elsewhere to find out what is going on in the US and the world.

That's a number I would find interesting, because the stronger Conservatives with options have likely gone there.

Seventeen Techniques for Truth Suppression

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.
