Lara Trump Stepping Down as RNC Co-Chair amid Senate Speculation

Simon Kent 9 Dec 2024

Republican National Committee (RNC) co-chair Lara Trump is stepping down from her party role as she considers replacing Florida Sen. Marco Rubio (R), whom her father-in-law, President-elect Trump, picked for secretary of state.

“It is something I would seriously consider,” she told the Associated Press in an interview, referring to serving in the Senate.

“But yeah, I would 100 percent consider it.”

Trump was elected to lead the RNC alongside fellow chair Michael Whatley in March and has been unrelenting in her support of her father-in-law and now President-elect Donald Trump.

My hope is that Floridians rebuke this new potential "political family dynasty" upstart.

The names Kennedy and Bush should be invoked at every discussion, and what that has wrought.
I display the Confederate Battle Flag in honor of my great great great grandfathers who spilled blood at Wilson's Creek and Shiloh.  5 others served in the WBTS with honor too.  Note:  Posts may also be allegorical in nature, and not literal.

We'll see what happens as ultimately DeSantis picks Rubio's replacement.  Rumor has it that Trump may select DeSantis if things don't work out with Hegseth though, so who knows what will unfold.

I am not comfortable at all with a Trump dynasty either and I am grateful that Harris didn't win .... but a dynasty will be bad for this country.

Think of the money and the power right now that the Trump's have behind them especially with Tiffany's marriage to Boulos and Trump naming his father as an adviser .... then there's "uncle Elon" (Barron's title for him)....

Live in  harmony with one another; do not be haughty, but associate with the lowly, do not claim to be wiser than you are.  Do not repay anyone evil for evil, but take thought for what is noble in the sight of all.  If it is possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all.

Romans 12:16-18
