UN Climate COPs have always been about big money but until now there was a facade of emission reductions to hide it behind. This time the money is the big thing and it is amazingly crazy. They want many trillions from us starting next year.

That people take this nonsense seriously speaks volumes about the unreality of the UN climate program. But it will be great fun to watch them hit the NO WAY wall.

There are actually three big money issues to watch fail. First is the annual money for nothing from developed countries to developing ones that is supposed to jump from a measly $100 billion a year to a trillion a year and quickly growing to almost two trillion. I am not making this up.

Upwards of 50,000 people have flown into oil-rich Baku, Azerbaijan, for the 29th annual United Nations climate conference where an aggressive push to limit carbon emissions is expected to dominate proceedings alongside demands for “compensation” to be paid by wealthy, industrial nations to the world’s poorest. One noted absentee will be climate activist Greta Thunberg who says she will not be attending COP29 because the event is “greenwashing.”


Host nation Azerbaijan “has no ambition to take climate action”, she says, the BBC reports.

Even without her presence organizers have an ambitious schedule ahead with their desire not just to limit global emissions of pollutants but also to arrange wealth transfers from rich industrialized countries to poorer Third World entities claimed to suffer from their lack of development.

REMMERS: “And we also want to give some of the revenues of those taxes to consumers to reduce prices of healthy foods like vegetables, fruits and plant-based meat. And on top of that, if there’s some money left, it’s really important, we should also pay for the loss and damage funds, because when we eat meat and dairy, this is causing like 20% of all greenhouses gas emissions, so it’s damaging a lot of things in the world. Climate change is caused 20% by meat and dairy, so the producers of meat and dairy should pay for the damage they cause. It’s normal, when I damage the window of my neighbor, I have to repair this damage, but meat and dairy processors also have to repair the damage they cause on others and in the future. So, thank you for the question.”
