The Costco/Kirkland butter ingredient label did say "Cream".

In related news my jar of “Peanut Butter Pretzel Nuggets” has the “May Contain Peanuts” warning on it!! 🙄

Stupid government bureaucracy needs a downsize to help with the trillion dollar deficits and the $35 trillion public debt. PDJT needs to add a 10%-15% cut to the FDA in his initial proposed White House budget.

Where is the 80,000 lbs. of butter going? Destroyed? Hope not! Cattle/pig feed? Re-package the butter WITH the “warning” label? (probably not enough time or money for that...expiration date).

Butter contains neither cream nor milk.  It is 100% butter.

I think it's up "only" ~50% where I buy it, but "just 50%" in less than 4 years is not a standard of excellence. OTOH, the last time I bought an 18-pack of eggs it was, literally, double what I paid for the same brand in the same aisle in the same store.

This recall is the height of bureaucratic moronicity, but given Costco's liberal-leanings, my sympathy is more for their customers than for the corporation. Costco Corp supports the stupidity it got.
