It's not that they are colleged-educated, it's that they look down upon the rest of us as "less than" or inferior.

The current Dem Party very much looks like the party constructed by liberal, white female, college grads. That's basically what got Harris the Veep job.
Not only did the Big Thinkers in the party decide that Biden's Veep pick had to be a female.....she had to be a minority female thereby eliminating 97% of the possible choices. Many top white females in the Dem Party were all for that.
During the Biden admin we saw numerous weird people nominated and confirmed for jobs who wouldn't have had a chance even in a Dem admin twenty years ago. Biden junked all his so-called moderate positions, and embraced numerous woke positions. That could have been caused by him being pressured into doing so by the far left of the party.
So, for the Dems to have a chance in 2028, barring a Trump admin disaster, they're going have to move closer to the center. Throw out the woke agenda and actually champion what average Americans want.
The chances of that happening? From comments I've read from libs on a number of forums close to zero. Most Dems still don't understand why they lost.
So, they're calling for more cowbell i.e, more woke policies. Good luck with that.
