FEMA Distributes $380 Million to NGOs Housing, Feeding Illegal Aliens

 
The Department of Homeland Security has distributed millions of dollars to nonprofits and communities that assist the migrants the agency releases, despite previous concerns about how some of those funds are being used.

DHS on Wednesday announced the allocation of over $380 million to various entities nationwide through the agency’s Shelter and Service Program. The program is administered by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) in partnership with U.S. Customs and Border Protection.

This includes almost $17 million to the Catholic Charities Archdiocese of San Antonio, which received over $10 million in a previous tranche of Shelter and Service funds released in April.

The amounts that FEMA has paid to Catholic Charities to fund the flow of illegals into our country are huge — but what the State Department and USAID have done is even worse.

The State Department’s Bureau of Population, Refugees, and Migration - or PRM - gave the International Organization of Migration $1.0 billion in FYE 2023 alone. USAID gave $420 million.

The Heritage Foundation's Mike Howell noted that these NGOs are also “involved in lobbying the Biden administration and our Congress to keep the border wide open.

Howell singled out the Catholic Church, noting that “Catholic charities are a prime example. They're really the 800 pound gorilla when it comes to this. They are deeply involved in facilitating the travel of illegal aliens throughout the country.”

The massive and ongoing donations directly from FEMA to Catholic Charities backs this assertion up (see our pinned tweet on this issue).

According to the State Department’s Bureau of Population, Refugees, and Migration (PRM): “U.S. contributions… helped the Mexican Commission for Refugee Assistance increase its asylum registration and processing capacity by 400 percent.”

The report notes that “PRM plans to build out new NGO programming to augment its Mexico and Central America response.”

The State Department’s PRM is also working to ensure a steady flow of illegal migrants.

As their report notes, “In Central America and Mexico, PRM support helps government officials and civil society to identify, screen, protect, and assist vulnerable migrants and to strengthen national asylum systems and other protection capacities.“

The hard truth is that we're paying for the flow of illegals through massive federal subsidization of the hundreds of  NGO's that set up waystations throughout all of Latin America.

Seems that more than a few Catholic/Christian NGO's have been turned into "useful idiots" for The Party...

1.) They won't be getting abortions from Catholic Charities.
2.) They are only "illegal aliens" if you don't call them "refugees" or "uninvited guests".

While trying to board my flight to Syracuse, NY yesterday 15+ migrants  boarded the flight while using a translation app to speak w/  gate agent (none of them spoke English). I noticed  they had bag tags from Royal Jordanian & everyone (kids included) had BRAND new phones.

When we arrived, I saw the adults had bags from a IOM UN refugee organization (more on that later) - the migrants were met with a bunch of women, flowers, and had PILES of suitcases.

Did a little digging on IOM and they resettle people from Egypt, Jordan, & Lebanon into Canada, America & Germany. According to @Heritage the US is the LARGEST contrib to IOM w/ $682 million. I tried to understand how these people are vetted (if at all) still unclear.

The 2 flight attendants were VISIBLY irritated by the migrant's refusal to follow rules. I asked 1 of them whether Syracuse had seen an uptick in migrants. He said he couldn't speak to NY specifically, but he's seen a "SIGNIFICANT uptick" in migrants flying in the last year.
