* Cities in the Ninth Circuit have been hamstrung for years in dealing with the Sacred Homeless by the Boise decision. I wonder if Jazz Shaw is aware of this.
* The USSC, through a case brought by Grants Pass, OR, basically overturned Boise ... in late June 2024, which means that Grants Pass had filed for the case to be heard by the USSC in summer 2023. I wonder if Jazz Shaw is aware of this.
* Among the cities that supported Grants Pass' case was the City of San Francisco.
So, no, this effort by the City of SF (and others), which began in August, is not timed to correspond to the November election, but instead to the timing of the overturning of the Boise decision.
