New Bill Would Strip Federal Funding To Groups Supporting Illegal Immigrants
Story by Kevin Scott • 9h
Gaetz has officially proposed a bill

The Republican Party and former President Donald Trump have focused heavily on the issue of illegal immigration in the upcoming 2024 election cycle. At the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee, Senator Ted Cruz stated, “We are facing an invasion on our southern border.”

Members of Congress have attempted to take action in the issue. Knewz.com is reporting that Rep. Matt Gaetz has officially proposed a bill known as the BARRIER Act. The bill seeks to eliminate federal grant funding for nonprofit groups that provide support to illegal immigrants.

It has no chance of becoming law as long as there are politicians around like Biden, Harris, the squad, Schumer, and democrats. **nononono*

  • I was a "conspiracy theorist". Now I'm just right.
Maybe it won't 'go' this time around, but keep at it, stuff it in some omnibus bill, tie it to funding all else, what it takes... Take it to the State Level, too.

Seventeen Techniques for Truth Suppression

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.
