An Arkansas woman is being hailed as a heroine after she stopped to aid an officer being attacked by an intoxicated illegal alien during a recent traffic stop that ended in a shooting, according to authorities.
On Wednesday, Arkansas State Police (ASP) released footage of the harrowing incident, which unfolded on July 27 in Benton County.
ASP Trooper Alexandria Duncan observed a Toyota C-HR pass her traveling 114 mph in heavy traffic on I-49.
Trooper Duncan gave pursuit and activated her siren and emergency lights, but the driver continued onward for some time before finally pulling onto the shoulder.
