Trump Campaign Details “Inflammatory, Violent Rhetoric” Used Against Former President

Donald Trump’s campaign released a damning email to supporters on Monday, Sept. 16 highlighting more than 50 instances where Democrats have labeled him a threat to democracy.


The former president was the target of a second assassination attempt in two months when a suspect was discovered aiming a rifle towards the Trump International Golf Course in Palm Beach, FL, where Trump was playing a round on Sunday, Sept. 15.

58-year-old Ryan Routh has been charged with federal gun crimes in relation to the attempt on the former president’s life. His voting record and donation history revealed him to be a supporter of the Democrats for several years.
 
The Trump campaign has since emailed supporters dozens of instances where prominent Democrats have used “increasingly incendiary rhetoric” against the former president. Many examples feature Trump and his supporters being referred to as a “threat” to the United States or democracy itself.
