WASHINGTON — Joe Biden’s longtime White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre announced Wednesday she has left the Democratic Party and is writing a tell-all book about the “broken” administration she served.

Jean-Pierre, 50, worked as Biden’s top spokeswoman for two years and eight months and stunned fellow White House alums by announcing her book “Independent: A Look Inside a Broken White House, Outside the Party Lines,” due out on Oct. 21.

“Jean-Pierre didn’t come to her decision to be an Independent lightly,” Hachette Book Group said in a promotional release, which hints that the former Biden spokesperson may focus her ire on figures aside from the 46th president in her account.

“She has served two American presidents, [Barack] Obama and Biden … She takes us through the three weeks that led to Biden’s abandoning his bid for a second term and the betrayal by the Democratic Party that led to his decision,” the tease goes.

“In a hard-hitting yet hopeful critique, Jean-Pierre defines what it means to be part of the growing percentage of our fractured electorate that is Independent, why it can be worthwhile to carve a political space more loyal to personal beliefs than a party affiliation, and what questions you need to ask yourself to determine where you fit politically.”

Reporters who covered the Biden White House are in disbelief that former press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre ditched the Democratic Party to pen a new book in a "desperate" attempt to revive her career.

The longtime spokesperson for former President Joe Biden announced on Wednesday that she switched her affiliation to independent. Jean-Pierre also revealed an upcoming book, "Independent: A Look Inside a Broken White House, Outside the Party Lines," that quickly raised eyebrows among the journalists who dealt with her in the briefing room.

One White House reporter sarcastically called the project "amazing," and suggested Jean-Pierre’s book won’t carry much weight.

In one of the most laughable attempts at political reinvention in recent history, former Joe Biden press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre announced on Wednesday that she is leaving the Democratic Party. Not coincidentally, she's also releasing a book all about how much of a fair-minded independent she is, willing to speak the truth in any situation, encouraging Americans to think "outside the party lines."

If you know anything about Jean-Pierre's history as one of the primary actors in covering up Biden's mental and physical decline, you're probably already on the floor laughing at this point. Take this line from the press release as a perfect example of how absurd this all is.

    The book also claims that Jean-Pierre highlights the "importance of dismantling the torrent of disinformation and misinformation that has been rampant in recent elections and provides passionate insight for moving forward."

Ah, yes, who better to lecture Americans on "disinformation and misinformation" than a woman who spent years on end lying about the president's senility while she and a cabal of handlers used his position of power to secretly and fundamentally change the country. I can't think of anyone better equipped to deliver honest commentary.
