Here's what it boils down to on polling:

1) Does the sample reflect the party and demographic turnout for the election and how they will vote?

2) Is the poll meant to reflect or manipulate the vote?

I'm not sure with everything going on these days if they can accurately get that sample or even have the desire to do so.
The Republic is lost.

Polls are not accurate measurements of voter intent.

Polls are political propaganda tools to generate a Fear Of Missing Out response from voters and donors.

"Political correctness is a doctrine fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it’s entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end." - Alan Simpson, Frontline Video Interview

the polls are all over the place and one is always contradicting the other. I don't know, guess if Kamala doesn't win by three percentage points, that means she loses some of the oh-so-important battleground states and will probably lose the EV vote.

Media Polls are all over the place because they want us giving clicks to the Press for advertising $$.  Like a horse race.
