The Biden pier debacle

In an election season when the Democratic Party is all style over substance, it is worth revisiting not the most consequential foreign policy decision of the Biden-Harris administration, but perhaps the most emblematic of their established pattern of placing domestic political priorities over real-world security concerns. Namely, the ill-fated floating pier for aid delivery to Gaza.

Friday was the third anniversary of President Joe Biden’s disastrous decision to ignore the advice of his generals and choose a purely political timeline to remove all troops from Afghanistan in time for the 20th anniversary of 9/11. It was an act of pure political hubris that cost 13 servicemembers their lives and made America look weak throughout the region.

Biden’s decision to appease the Iranian regime, by returning to President Barack Obama’s nuclear deal and easing up on sanctions enforcement, was less about scoring domestic political points and more about an authentic naivete in Democratic foreign policy thinking, but the result nonetheless was an emboldened Iranian regime that flooded proxies in the region with cash and weapons. As a direct result of easing up on the Iranian regime, terrorists now menace shipping lanes in the Red Sea and Hamas has attacked Israel from Gaza.

Israel is a coastal country on the Mediterranean Sea. The country is full of piers, from North to South. This was deemed to be not good enough for the Democrats. The Democrats wanted their own 'private pier' so they could deliver supplies directly to Hamas without having to go through Israel first. This is suspicious just on the face of it.

Israel agreed to it and even cooperated with the effort because they knew it would never work. Nobody knows the conditions on the coast of Israel better than Israel. So they said, 'sure'. Go ahead and build your own pier in a nation of piers (while snickering under-breath about stupid Americans).

They wasted over 300 million dollars on the stupid boondoggle which never had any real point. How many bridges could that have built in America? How many schools or public housing projects could have been built and funded with that money? But Hamas was more important than America to Democrats. In the same way illegals have more rights and benefits than American citizens.

On the Democrat list of priorities, America and Americans are always last.
You cannot "COEXIST" with people who want to kill you.
If they kill their own with no conscience, there is nothing to stop them from killing you.
