I have not watched a single NBA game since the 1990s, and I would root for the USSR over our olympic team.

The NBA is a subsidiary of Nike.  Once you realize that, it's easy not to watch.

My team hasn't won since the 70's.  And they don't even go by the same name.  The NBA sucks.  They don't play defense.  They never get called for traveling.  And the home team wins 90% of the time.  I would much rather watch college.

And for all those out there who think LeBron is the greatest player ever, you don't have a clue what you are talking about.  Jordan would beat the brakes off of him.  And so would Moses Malone.

I spend as little time watching pro sports as possible.
I watched people get treated like prima donnas in college because they could throw a ball, while brilliant physics students scratched through their change to get the stuff to run experiments.

That is sad but true. And sadly, so many young people are inspired and want to emulate these people. I know I' gonna sound like a geezer*, but back in the day...the sports figures could be a role model. They kept their craziness to themselves. And if the crazy came out...they were fired.

If I could buy "King James" for what he's worth and sell him for what he thinks he's worth I'd be rich, rich, rich.

I like football...and quit watching. As soon as Dirk retired from the Mavs, I cancelled my sports package.

*When I was in school...I walked uphill in knee deep snow...both ways! In Texas!!!

I was a huge NBA fan until the kneeling started. James has always been a race-baiting jerk. But there are other huge faults with the current game.
Too much three point shooting, too much showboating, and, of course, there was the kneeling.
Haven't seen an NBA game in four years after previously watching hundreds annually and subscribing to a streaming service.
What really galled me was Giannis Antetokounmpo, a foreigner, leading a BLM parade in Milwaukee while making over one hundred million dollars bouncing a basketball in the NBA.
