How Trump Can Win—or Lose—the Election › American Greatness
Victor Davis Hanson

The Good News

The good news for the Trump campaign is that the sure Democratic nominee Kamala Harris is a lifelong California hard leftist at a time when the state is emblematic of progressive nihilism. Her extremist advocacies as a San Francisco county and city attorney, state Attorney General, and senator are on record. And they are consistent with what has virtually destroyed the state.

Harris was also a driving force as vice president for Joe Biden’s unpopular and unworkable progressive policies—whether open borders, massive illegal immigration, hyperinflation, fanning woke divisiveness, arguing for lax criminal prosecution, or defunding the police. She was far closer to the mindset of the unhinged Squad than Joe Biden himself.

None of the Biden-Harris administration’s main policy initiatives ever polled 50 percent approval. Abroad, the world blew up under their tenure with an unbridled Putin invading Ukraine, an unbound Iran brazenly using its proxies to attack Israel, and China all but warning the West of its impending absorption of Taiwan—now not a question of if but only when.

So, it should be easy for Trump to win the key midwestern swing states. All he needs to do is repeatedly remind voters that Harris is the most far-left presidential candidate in modern history. He can drive home that she is not only on record endorsing these extreme positions but has been doing so emphatically for years to energize her exclusively left-wing constituents and audiences.

He needs to show her for the chameleon she is, and make the point that 95% of Americans have no place in her admin. He needs to keep her off guard and make her commit unforced errors as she tries to fly at 30,000 feet and make it a coronation.
The Republic is lost.

Trump needs message discipline.  Good luck with that.

Trump 2024 Retribution Tour made a stop in Georgia. Tangerine Mussolini re-iterated his 2020 grievance with Kemp and repeated his lie that the 2024 Presidential Eleciton was rigged/stolen.

I still can't believe we have Briefers here, who still think that '20 wasn't stolen.  Just because as far as we know there wasn't one premeditated conspiracy at the top, doesn't mean it was it wasn't a group effort.

Simply, you can still drown as badly from a 10000 little drips as much as from a tsunami.

It doesn't take a grand conspiracy to steal a presidential election a few key boxes in the right states will do it and that is EXACTLY what they did in 2020.

Tangerine Mussolini lies more than a Nevada cat house prostitute.

Trump's delicate petulant silver spoon spoiled brat psyche can't accept that he lost in 2020, because that would make DJT a LOSER.

Trump's approach to elections is "heads I win, tails you lose".

If the 2020 Election was "rigged" or stolen", then every Republican Rep and Senator in Congress was fraudulently elected, and should be escorted out the Capitol building immediately.

Reason, logic, and truth don't matter, nor apply, to Trump.  He is a rabid dog who bites the hands that feed him.

You don't think just specific people are targeted for the fraudluent ballot stuffing?  Your premise, makes no sense....

And if you want a real time account, of the monkey business that went on, during that early morning in November 2020, parse through this old thread............

And this is from me....   no fan of Trump at all.

I understand you are hurting. I understand that TDS is not necessarily your fault. It is an illness.

There are millions of people who don't believe that an invalid doddering racist old White Man with a degenerate bagman son, campaigning from his basement, legitimately received the most votes ever in American history at 3am in the morning after all the counting stations were mysteriously shut down. He couldn't fill a high-school gym with supports then, and he still cannot today. Biden has 81 million invisible voters and supporters.

But I will grant you that he did fight Corn-Pop. So, he had that going for him ...

BTW: I am not sure you are qualified to lecture about reason, logic, and truth. Physician heal thyself.

You cannot "COEXIST" with people who want to kill you.
If they kill their own with no conscience, there is nothing to stop them from killing you.

Let’s say for the sake of argument that the 2020 election was stolen. I’m not gonna argue either way on this thread, but let’s just say that we all agree that it was

Trump should have done what Nixon did in 1960. Instead, he summoned his supporters to Washington DC where they rioted and he’s only given his support to candidates that only accept his version of 2020. Which, as we’ve seen, have cost republicans elections.

And he still is doing it. While Harris is out firing up her base and registering new voters, Trump is picking fights with Republicans and going after the Heritage Foundation

And that’s why he’s probably going to lose the election. Let’s just hope he doesn’t take congressional Republicans with him
I have little interest in streamlining government or in making it more efficient, for I mean to reduce its size. I do not undertake to promote welfare, for I propose to extend freedom. My aim is not to pass laws, but to repeal them.

I don't have TDS.

I voted for Trump in the 2016 GOP Primary.

I voted for Trump in the 2016 General Election.

It was his inability to confidently manage the Covid-19 Crisis that lost me.  He hoped it would go away by Easter; but it didn't.  He did Operation Warp Speed, but MAGA's became anti-vaxers.  America needs leaders who run towards crisis, not away from it.  America needs leaders who lead from the front. not from behind.  Trump's choatic Covid-19 management left a bad after taste.  American people and business want stability, not chaos.  Chaos is what you get with Trump and his feckless Congressional Republican sycophants.

Trump is not for small Government.
Trump is not for reduced Government spending.
Trump approaches Government as an extension of the Trump Organization; not, as belonging to the People.
Trump has spent his professional life going bankrupt using other people's money.

The fact that the GOP cannot do better than Donald Trump at a national level demonstrates how vapid and hollow the National Republican Party has become.  A new Republican Party will have to come from the States.

I know why Trump appeals to people - he's a fighter.  Americans want a leader who will fight.  Americans want a leader who challenges the Status Quo in DC.  Americans want a leader who makes them feel good to be Americans.  Americans wants action, not endless policy discussions.  Trump is a leader of sternly worded actions, not sternly worded letters.

Globalist Big-Government Foreign-Nation-Building New World Order Bush Republicanism is done.  The popularity of Trump is the People's cry to return to the Republican Party of Lincoln, Teddy Roosevelt, Eisenhower, Goldwater, and Reagan.
