Kansas City Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker may have just begun training camp, but he’s already in peak form as an anti-Christian critic.
Butker took issue with a segment of the Paris Olympics’ opening ceremony Friday that appeared to feature drag queens and others supposedly reenacting “The Last Supper” ― Leonardo da Vinci’s imagining of Jesus Christ’s final meal with his apostles before being crucified.
“Be not deceived, God is not mocked,” Butker wrote on social media, quoting a Bible verse. He also shared a video clip of the act, one of many that pushed boundaries in the ceremony along the Seine River. Another interlude artistically depicted a ménage à trois.
