‘What the hell have you done?’ Vance says VP Harris has done little besides ‘collect a check’

A Saturday stop in Grand Rapids, Michigan marked the freshman senator’s first official rally since joining former President Donald Trump on the Republican ticket. As the crowd of supporters embraced the 39-year-old veteran, author, businessman and lawmaker, he wasted little time in countering a slight attributed to his current rival.
Vance wasted no time after marking the “blessed week” to be tapped by Trump and the importance of winning Michigan to point out, “There’s some bad news, actually. The vice president, Kamala Harris, she doesn’t like me.”
“Kamala Harris said something to the effect that I have no loyalty to this country. Well, I don’t know, Kamala, I did serve in the United States Marine Corps and build a business,” he reminded before countering, “What the hell have you done other than collect a check?”
After earning a “USA!” chant, the senator continued tongue-in-cheek, “What has she done other than collect the check from her political offices? And we have to, we have to give her credit, my friends. She did serve as border czar during the biggest disaster, open border that we’ve ever had in this country.”
