Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu published a video statement Tuesday urging the U.S. to stop withholding weapons and ammunition from Israel.

In May, the Biden administration confirmed that it was withholding heavy precision bombs from Israel in protest against Israel’s decision to enter the southern Gaza town of Rafah to fight the last remaining Hamas battalions.

As a result, Israel was forced to send troops into potentially booby-trapped buildings rather than bombing them.

The White House said it was concerned about Palestinian civilian casualties, but a million civilians left Rafah.

Given the success of the Israeli operation — which has reportedly destroyed half of the Hamas terrorist battalions in Rafah — and the departure of so many civilians to safety, it was thought that Biden had relented on the arms issue.

On Monday, there were unconfirmed reports that U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken had promised Netanyahu last week that weapons shipments would fully resume. But Netanyahu’s speech suggests otherwise — that the arms shipments are still being withheld. Hence Netanyahu is appealing to the White House publicly and directly.

The White House on Tuesday disputed comments from Israel‘s prime minister that appeared to suggest the United States was delaying multiple weapons shipments for Israel’s war against Hamas.

“We generally do not know what he’s talking about,” press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said. “There was one particular shipment of munitions that was paused. … There are no other pauses. None.”

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu delivered fierce criticism of the Biden administration in a prerecorded video shared on social media earlier in the day, saying it’s “inconceivable that in the past few months, the administration has been withholding weapons and ammunitions to Israel.”

Unfortunately for the DEI hire no one is as dumb as her and everyone else knows exactly what Netanyahu is talking about, that and I believe Joe said he was doing exactly what Netanyahu is talking about.

This is a good thing. What this does is to cause Israel to ween off American and International support. In the next decade, Israel will double and triple domestic production of ammunition and everything else they need. America is a 'fickle' ally to have, as dozens of other countries will swear to.

America is you savior one day fighting your enemy and rebuilding your country, and then the next day America is shuttering down and pulling out, with no warning at all.

When Secretary Blinken was recently here in Israel, we had a candid conversation. I said I deeply appreciated the support the U.S. has given Israel from the beginning of the war.

But I also said something else. I said it’s inconceivable that in the past few months, the administration has been withholding weapons and ammunitions to Israel.

Israel, America’s closest ally, fighting for its life, fighting against Iran and our other common enemies.

Secretary Blinken assured me that the administration is working day and night to remove these bottlenecks. I certainly hope that’s the case. It should be the case.

During World War II, Churchill told the United States, ‘Give us the tools, we’ll do [sic] the job.’ And I say, give us the tools and we’ll finish the job a lot faster.

(Churchill actually used the word “finish” as well.)

This      is chutzpah with a capital chutz.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu appeared to double down on his claims that the United States has been withholding weapons deliveries for Israel's war effort in Gaza, despite the Biden administration denying the claim.

On Sunday, Netanyahu told his Cabinet that there was a "dramatic drop" in U.S. weapons about four months ago, without specifying which weapons. He said only that "certain items arrived sporadically but the munitions at large remained behind."

These comments come just days after he released a video in English last week after what he said were weeks of unsuccessful pleas with American officials to speed up deliveries.

"In light of what I have heard over the past day, I hope and believe that this matter will be solved soon," he said Sunday, without elaborating.

A White House official told CBS News on Sunday that the administration has "made our position clear on this repeatedly and we are not going to keep responding to the Prime Minister's political statements. We look forward to constructive consultations with the Defense Minister in Washington this week."

JERUSALEM (AP) — Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Sunday that the current phase of fighting against Hamas in Gaza is winding down, setting the stage for Israel to send more troops to its northern border to confront the Lebanese militant group Hezbollah.

The comments threatened to further heighten the tensions between Israel and Hezbollah at a time when they appear to be moving closer to war. Netanyahu also signaled that there is no end in sight for the grinding war in Gaza.

The Israeli leader said in a lengthy TV interview that while the army is close to completing its current ground offensive in the southern Gaza city of Rafah, that would not mean the war against Hamas is over. But he said fewer troops would be needed in Gaza, freeing up forces to battle Hezbollah.

Hezbollah already has unveiled new weapons during the low-level fighting, including hard-to-defend attack drones that strike with little warning. An Israeli soldier was badly wounded Sunday in a drone strike.

But Israel says it too has shown Hezbollah only a small part of its full capabilities, and that Lebanon will be turned into a second Gaza if there is a war. Israel’s army last week said it had “approved and validated” a new plan for a Lebanon offensive.

In the interview, Netanyahu said that Israel’s offensive in Gaza is winding down. The Israeli army has been operating in the southern border town of Rafah since early May. It says it has inflicted heavy damage on Hamas in Rafah, which it has identified as the last remaining Hamas stronghold after a brutal war stretching nearly nine months. But he said Israel would have to continue “mowing” operations — targeted strikes aimed at preventing Hamas from regrouping.
